Newbyβs love for music began at an early age and led him to successfully pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD) University in Toronto. Newby strongly believes in cultural openness and embracing oneβs true self - a message reflected in his authentic, βkid-at-heartβ approach to his music. Newby expertly borrows from the distinctive sound of the 80βs, 90βs and 2000βs to create his unique musical style marked by nostalgia, innuendo and youthful zest.
